Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records.
Duties:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures - Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data - Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits - Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities - Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role - Knowledge of basic accounting principles - Familiarity with medical collections and medical terminology is a plus - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and PeopleSoft - Strong negotiation skills to handle customer inquiries and disputes - Excellent customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette - Ability to perform double-entry bookkeeping accurately If you are a detail-oriented individual with a background in accounting and possess exceptional organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this position.
